I wish to encourage you to consciously think of the love of Christ today. The love that first loved us (1Jn 4:19) and pursued us. It’s the love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God (1Jn 3:11).
Ephesians 1:4-10 In love He predestined us for adoption as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of His will, to the praise of his glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the Beloved. In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace, which he lavished upon us, in all wisdom and insight making known to us the mystery of His will, according to His purpose, which He set forth in Christ as a plan for the fullness of time, to unite all things in Him, things in heaven and things on earth.
There are so many levels and facets of His eternal love, that we struggle to grasp the enormity of it. Although the enemy constantly tries to distract us from God’s love, we are assured by Scripture that we are NEVER outside of our Father’s predetermining love, we are never outside of His conscious awareness and purpose, never outside of His personal involvement accomplishing His will in the events of our lives, and never outside of His perpetual provision and planning for the eternal future He is preparing for us.
The love of God that is expressed to us through Jesus Christ by His Holy Spirit secures us, affirms our faith, and brightens our hope for glory – Come Lord Jesus!
Today, lets verbally express our appreciation of His love, and communicate His love to someone else. Let’s speak well of our Saviour for His pleasure and glory.
