Colossians 2:13-14 (NLT)
You were dead because of your sins and because your sinful nature was not yet cut away. Then God made you alive with Christ, for he forgave all our sins. He cancelled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross.
The Gospel of Jesus Christ
Agree with God that you are a sinner, separated from Him (Romans 3:10-12, 23; Ephesians 2:12).
Acknowledge that God is a just and holy judge, and the penalty for our sin is death, which is eternal separation from God in the judgement of hell (Romans 6:23; Hebrews 9:27).
Believe that Jesus paid your penalty for your sin by dying on the cross in your place. Repent and believe that Jesus rose from the grave victorious over death (Romans 5:8; 6:11; 10:9; 1 Peter 2:24).
Receive God’s gift of forgiveness and eternal life and trust in Jesus Christ alone as your Saviour from sins’ penalty, and obey Him as Lord of your life (John 1:12; Ephesians 2:8-9; 1 John 5:13).
Pray: If you genuinely agree with these truths as written in the Bible, pray them to God, believing them to be true in your life.
