Lincoln and Jo were part of the original church plant of 2009, with Lincoln being commissioned as Pastor soon after. Lincoln's multifaceted focus is on discipleship, expository Bible teaching, growing authentic Christian relationships, and proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ. His passion is unmistakable, as is the Lord Jesus Christ he serves.

Focus Bible Church is blessed to have 4 deacons who serve in administering many of the day-to-day aspects of church life. Together Hamish, Jill, Stephen, and Jo serve as a team in the practical areas of administering the resources provided by the Lord to the congregation. Plus, the deacons provide support for our mission partners.

At present Lincoln is the single elder, although happy to be joined by another. His attention is mostly given to shepherding the spiritual life of the church, to study and writing Bible and discipleship lessons, to discipling men, plus he works in conjunction with the deacons.

Lincoln was born in Tauranga and has Lived his life within the surrounding areas. Having put faith in Jesus Christ as a child, he began discipling others in earnest at the age of 22. He also engaged in Seminary level studies as a casual,  distant student with The Master’s Seminary, USA. Lincoln and Jo were married in 1988 and have 2 sons.
