Welcome to Focus Bible Church

We get it! Meeting a group of Christians for the first time in a church environment, especially when you don’t know anyone or what to expect, can seem a bit weird. You may not consider yourself religious at all, but you’d like to know more about God or the church. Well, that’s OK. We’d love the opportunity to get to know you and assist in the process of discovering Jesus Christ.

Focus Bible Church is a smaller community of believers in Jesus Christ, where new friends are always welcome. We meet for worship every Sunday at 10:00am and finish around 11:30am. There’s always singing, Bible readings, prayers, Bible teaching, and often people sharing about what God is doing in their lives. We always have morning tea following the service which is great for getting to know each other and catching up.

Come as you are. There’s no dress code, no expectation that you know what to do, and no pressure to speak or be singled out. Just come along, take a seat wherever you feel comfortable, and join us at your own pace.

Common Questions
Will I be expected to give money?
No. You’re our guest, and we don’t ask for, or expect money.

Will I be expected to participate?
No. We are simply happy to have you visit us. And if all you want to do is sit and observe, that’s OK.

Can I come if I’m not sure what I believe?
Yes. You’re welcome, no matter where you are in your belief about God.

Can I bring someone with me?
Of course. Everyone is welcome to come along.

Is the building wheelchair accessible?
Yes. The building is wheelchair accessible, and we’re glad to help however possible.
